A New Home for HMCC

Three years after Tropical Storm Irene forced Hunger Mountain Children’s Center out of its home in downtown Waterbury, the nonprofit is taking control of its own destiny.

This week, the center bought two buildings from the Vermont state government, at 121 and 123 S. Main St. The 123 S. Main building was the center’s headquarters until the 2011 floods struck.
