Dear Families and Friends,
Our 3rd Annual Fun Run & Walk and Family Fun Event is only a few short weeks away!
Join us on Saturday, September 12 from 3 pm to 7 pm for this really fun event and fundraiser. As we prepare to move back to downtown Waterbury after being dislocated by Tropical Storm Irene several years ago, we are in need of additional resources, making our fundraising all the more important!
- 3 pm Registration at Rusty Parker Memorial Park in Waterbury
- 4 pm Fun Run and Walk
- 5 pm Family Fun Event including Race Prizes, Food, Live Music, Bounce House, Face Painting, Raffle and More!
The run/walk is approximately 1 mile and will end at Rusty Parker Memorial Park where food, music and fun await!
Your Fun Run & Walk ticket includes entry into our Family Fun Event, including dinner, music, fun and a free tee-shirt for the first 50 people to register!
Ticket Prices*:
- $60 Family (up to 2 adults and 3 kids)
- $25 Adult (18+)
- $10 Child (3+)
- Free 2 and under
*There will be additional day-of registration fees. So, please pre-register! We hope all families will participate in the Fun Run & Walk, but we also have Family Fun Event only tickets for $10 each.
WE NEED YOUR HELP to make this event a success and there are many ways to get involved:
- REGISTER TODAY for the Fun Run & Walk and Family Fun Event
- SPONSOR our event with an additional gift, either personally or through your business. $100+ sponsorships include a sign with a logo or picture and special message. And, there are many other benefits available.
- Spread the word! Send this as an email. Post to your Front Porch Forum. Share our Facebook event with your friends (Facebook Event Link)
- HANG FLIERS at your work or in your neighborhood.
- Help us sell raffle tickets. Closer to September we’ll be in touch with details about an exciting raffle and ask all families to sell at least 5 tickets. We’ll also have an excellent prize for the family who sells the most tickets! Stay tuned.
